Alliance Wars, more commonly known as Classic Wars are 12 hour long sessions that pit four willing alliances against one another to see which can earn the most War Points.
War may be declared by a Shogun or General at any time. It brings a deeper dimension to the multiplayer aspect of the game. It is a good way for players to earn Diamonds and Honor and for alliances to level up.
You can use [] to quickly scout your opponents! It uses the SamuraiSiegeWar tweets to give you quick access to your war rival's top scores and history of war results.
War point calculations have gone through a large number of changes over the past versions. The most current iteration uses only Castle levels and Kami Tree levels to determine points.
Each attack is awarded 1-3 stars based on the percentage of destruction of the attack. Destroying the castle is worth 1 star. Destroying 50% of the base is worth an additional 1 star. Destroying everything is worth the last 1 star for a total of 3 stars.
When the 12 hour war has completed, the winning alliance will be rewarded with Diamonds and XP. Only players who were part of the alliance when war was declared and in the alliance for the entire duration of the war will receive Diamonds; this is to stop players from attempting to join a team that is about to win just for the Diamonds, or sending a player to sabotage a rival in the war. Upon victory, each alliance member is rewarded with Diamonds and XP. The size of the reward is dependent on the amount of combined Honor that the alliance had when war was declared. The payout brackets are listed below. Note: As an added incentive, the top two contributors of the winning clan receive double the amount of Diamonds (the contributions of each alliance member can be found during war in the alliance tab of the side-panel). If multiple players tie for 2nd, all of those players will receive the double diamonds.
